Paintbrush
Diplomacy has set aside a small number of artworks for exhibition and distribution beyond the classroom.
Over the years, we have been able to build a truly extraordinary collection of children’s art. Take a look at some of the art that our participants have created:

Where is the exhibition art housed?
In 1994, Paintbrush Diplomacy formed the International Children’s Art Museum in the San Francisco Ferry Building with a grant from VISA International Corporation. Through the efforts of the Children’s Art Museum, art exhibits traveled with Smithsonian Tours and National Geographic, and appeared in other museums across the country. Paintbrush Diplomacy has received many congratulations and thanks for these beautiful exhibits.
The Children’s Art Museum closed in 1999, when the San Francisco Ferry Building underwent extensive renovations. Currently, the Paintbrush Diplomacy art collection is housed in the San Mateo County Historical Museum in Redwood City, CA. We continue to lend portions of the permanent collection for exhibits around the country. Paintbrush Diplomacy will have two shows in San Francisco in 2005, as part of the 60th anniversary celebration of the United Nations.
All of Paintbrush Diplomacy’s permanent collection is available for exhibition, and we invite any inquiries. We would like to assemble new shows titled Children’s views of War and Peace, and ‘Sporting Events. Many, many other themes are possible and welcome.
